I purchased this burner to use at work for cooking with my team instead of buying food all the time. I was disappointed that it did not get hot enough to boil eggs, but we still use it for cooking. It arrived quickly with the website Prime, and it is sturdy with a great price. I recommend it as long as you don't need to boil anything.

This burner is great for keeping my coffee warm and cooking ramen at my table. However, the light doesn't work on the lowest heat settings and it occasionally makes a clicking noise to remind me it's on. It would be safer if the light worked on all heat settings.

The hot plate gets too hot and damaged my counter top. I would not purchase it again.

This 1000 Watt burner is suitable for light camping and boiled 1 cup of water in less than 5 minutes in a small sauce pan.

Use as an additional heat source when canning.

The burner works well but takes a while to heat up. It can boil water and cook an egg, but it automatically turns off after a while and needs a minute to turn on again, which can be a bit tedious for cooking. If this bothers you, you might want to consider a different option.
