This toaster is excellent!

The product is fantastic and the price is excellent.

I purchased one for myself and one for my dad.

The toaster's dial doesn't always accurately predict the darkness of the bread or Eggo. I usually have to set it to the highest number for medium-dark toast, and a lower number for lightly toasted. I've tried to adjust to this, but it's still frustrating.

I am already enjoying this toaster. It is a significant improvement from my previous one and performs exceptionally well for a reasonable cost. I highly recommend it!

I had to replace my old Courant 4 slot toaster because I accidentally broke one of the knobs when putting it back in the cabinet. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed. I really liked my old toaster, but I tried a number of different models before settling on the Courant. Despite being cheaper than some fancier toasters, it actually performs better than ones that cost three times as much. The new toaster is easy to use with nice controls, and most importantly, it toasts bread and bagels perfectly and quickly. I haven't tried the defrost cycle yet, but for the price, it's perfect for me. It may not have a fancy stainless steel design, but I bought it to toast things, not to look at. I highly recommend it, and I was not compensated for this review.

The toaster only lasted five months before one side stopped staying down. I wish I had kept my old toaster that lasted 10 years. The company has replaced the toaster, so I am hopeful that the new one will be more reliable.
