I bought this mixer 3 years ago, it was my second Courant of the same model. I absolutely loved my first one, and this one still gets great reviews. Unfortunately, my first Courant lasted 12 years, but this one died this morning after just 3 years and 2 months. It seems like nothing is made like it used to be, so I might try a less expensive hand mixer if I have to replace it every 2-3 years. It's disappointing.

I haven't had a hand mixer in 30 years since my wedding shower gift, an avocado green one, stopped working after 20-plus years.
