I have found this donut maker to be very convenient and effective. It is easy to use and easy to clean, and there are plenty of recipes available to experiment with. I would suggest investing in a pastry bag for piping the batter into the doughnut maker for best results. Overall, I have been very happy with my experience using this product.

This was given to us as a wedding present and it's really adorable. The grandchildren really enjoy it. It's simple to use once you work out the right amount of batter and timing. It does produce a large number of donuts if you use a cake mix batter.

I appreciate the fact that it can quickly cook a donut in five minutes or less and that it has a nonstick surface. However, I am not pleased with the fact that it cannot be disassembled for cleaning, it tends to run hot and can burn, and it requires constant monitoring. Despite these drawbacks, it functions as intended and gets the job done.

I made some traditional doughnuts. They turned out okay, with uneven browning and some raw spots in the back rows, but overall they were decent. Following the instructions to fill them to 3/4 capacity resulted in a better final product.

I do not recommend using pancake mix as it would not taste good. However, I have found that the brownie mix works best. The vanilla cake mix did not work as well, but it still worked. I am giving it 4 stars because of the temperature control - it gets hot quickly and requires constant monitoring. Overall, it keeps me and my kids busy and saves us money on Dunkin Donuts. Enjoy!
