Absence of power button or temperature control

This donut maker does not have temperature control or a power button, as it turns on immediately when plugged in. Additionally, it has an automatic timer that does not match the cooking time needed for my preferred donut doneness.

The suggested dough recipe doesn't taste like a donut at all, they end up like waffle-shaped donuts. Other than that, the instructions work great and are fun to follow.

Courant could make the donut mold detachable and dishwasher-safe for easier cleaning. Currently, because of the cord, it can only be handwashed. Apart from that, it is a convenient and fast way to make donuts that the family enjoyed.
