I purchased this stick blender in 2017 for soap making and it's still going strong. I only use it occasionally, so it hasn't been heavily used. However, I want to caution others about using a stick blender for soap making. Some people have experienced burnouts because they use the blender for too long without letting it cool down. Soap making requires a lot of mixing over a long period of time, so I use my stick blender for about 30 seconds and then let it rest for a few minutes before using it again. This prevents it from overheating and I believe it will prolong its lifespan for years to come.

The package arrived slightly squished and the entire bottom had been retaped with packing tape. I have a feeling that this might have been a returned item. I hope it works as I purchased it on prime day in July for a Christmas gift, and it is now past the return time allowed.

After my 25+ year old 120W Braun hand blender stopped working, I went on a search for a replacement and discovered that there are so many options on . I tried out a few highly-rated, high-powered hand blenders but ended up returning them because they didn't meet my needs. The Courant hand blender stood out to me as the perfect fit for what I was looking for. It avoids all the things I wanted to avoid in a hand blender, such as being overpriced, having more power than necessary, being heavy and top-heavy, scratching containers, and not fitting into my thermos. The Courant has just the right amount of power for my daily needs and its lightweight and compact design make it easy to use. It may not look or feel expensive, and it may not be perfect for everyone, but for me, it is exactly what I was looking for and the only hand blender on that ticks all the boxes for me.

I used my previous model until it wore out. The only issue I had with it was the rubbery material covering the controls. This new model has fixed that problem. I am excited to use it just as much as my old one. It's a great product at a very affordable price!
