The burner was very good.

We bought this electric hot plate after the power went out in Texas. At first, we were worried it wouldn't fit our larger pots, but it worked great with our generator. It cooks food quickly and evenly, and we've used it for a variety of dishes with different types of pots and pans. We highly recommend it.

I found the dial position when turned off to be the only thing I didn't like. But it cooks quickly and is easy to clean, so I'm happy overall.
