This mixer is decent for the price, but I'm not confident it can handle heavy dough or large batches. It performs well with lighter mixes, so it's a worthwhile purchase.

I don't bake often, but I occasionally need a hand mixer, and this one meets all my needs. The speed regulator doesn't have a big difference between settings, with the first speed not being very slow but increasing gradually from 1 to 5. It's worth it for occasional use.

I have always used this type of hand mixer and was finally able to find a replacement for my old one. I am traditional and prefer hand mixers over stand mixers, especially since I don't have room for a stand mixer on my countertop.
