I bought a cheap hand blender for $13 with the expectation that it would last longer than 3-4 months. However, this morning it struggled to blend softened butter into my coffee and eventually died. The motor became weaker and the hand grip got warm, with black grease oozing from the seams. I briefly entertained the idea of an alien conspiracy, but it turned out to just be a broken motor seal. Despite the disappointment, I was able to salvage my coffee and move on with my day. Don't mess with a man's coffee, Courant-!

I wish I had read the instructions before using the Courant 59738A Hand Blender. It clearly states that the blender should not be operated for more than a minute at a time. I unfortunately used it for more than a minute to make corn flour, resulting in me abusing the device and destroying it. Despite my mistake, I really liked the blender and found it to be rugged and durable, but it's important to be patient and follow the operating guidelines.

Making protein shakes in the morning has improved significantly. I no longer have to deal with the clumps that used to form when I shook the mixture, and it even blends my powder peanut butter and real peanut butter perfectly.

I bought this hand blender to make pureed soup for my husband's lunches. I was disappointed to find that the max line was lower than I expected and that the high and low speeds can only be used for a minute at a time. Holding the buttons for that long is difficult for me due to my arthritis and carpal tunnel. The blades are very sharp and I wouldn't recommend using this around children. I also found that everything needs to be cubed before blending, which was inconvenient. The blender also made a mess when I pureed a large amount of vegetables, even though I was below the max line. Despite these drawbacks, I think it's a good product for the price and would recommend it for adults.

This blender of stick blenders is great value for the money. Instead of spending a hundred dollars on one, I'd rather buy 3 or 4 at thirteen dollars each. That way, I always have backups! I use them for making soap and it took me several months to wear out my first one. I would recommend this product to anyone, whether they blend occasionally or regularly. Who needs expensive blenders? Nobody!

The product seems to work well, but it can feel a bit warm to the touch after using it for more than 30 seconds. It has two speed options - the top button for normal or slow speed and the bottom button for faster speed.

Received a hand mixer as a gift and would never have bought one myself. However, it proved to be a very efficient tool for making soups, shakes, and sport drinks. When it stopped working, we bought the 2 speed Courant-ease and were very impressed. It outperformed our old mixer in every way and we are very satisfied with it. If we ever lost, broke, or had it stolen, we would definitely purchase another one.

This product has a decent sesame smell, but I am still on the lookout for a stronger aroma. This is my second order and I am hoping to find a sesame oil with a more powerful scent.
